Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the wine, fudge and of course the Famous Jersey black butter, how it was all made and how long it took to produce. The restaurant appeared to have lots of tables inside and out. A good way to spend some of your time.

La Mare Wine Estate is a wonderful place to visit on a sunny day. We went on the wine tasting tour which was interesting, informative and well run (also good fun, what is not to like about wine tasting and chocolate). It was a stunning sunny day so we had a good walk around the vineyard. They also make the... More

Mmmm not sure what to say about this. We took the tour and I found it interesting regarding the making of the wine, cider etc. The wine tastings was interspersed with videos and that led directly into the shop. I think my problem was it was a bit too slick, a bit too pat - it felt that it was... More

We visited this vineyard / estate in October 2016 as a family and had a great time! Even on a rainy day (as per our visit) it was such fun. The staff were friendly and engaging and the site was well maintained with a lot of history. The journey from grape to bottle was really well told and the process... More

This is not a big winery, but as Jersey is such a small island, you'll find none of the attractions are large. We loved the fact that this place has not been taken over and modernised too much. The tours are not too long, so you don't get bored, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the end products... More

We caught a bus to La Greve de Lecq from liberation bus station and then walked along the coast to the wine estate via Devils Hole, we arrived in time to book the 1pm tour at £9.95 each, the gentleman who booked us in was extremely helpful and also offered to look after our ruck sacks for us. Before we... More

We visited out of season but were still able to have a tasting and buy from the shop. There are some excellent quality wines and local treats here and the staff are informative, friendly and helpful. We had a really enjoyable trip here and particularly enjoyed the Champagne, white wine, black butter fudge and Jersey Apple Liqueur.

Travelled by bus from St Helier and enjoyed the beautiful countryside. We visited on a rather dull day so didn't wander round the wet vines too much. But the tour we were given was most informative and enjoyable. Perhaps disappointed that we didn't see the chocolate actually being made and unfortunately we could not understand the Chocolatier on the video... More

The grounds are nice, there's a cafe and a shop as well as the winery. They give you a number of wines to taste--and a decent pour too. They also make harder drinks--but you don't get to taste it. They have a number of sweets to try out gratis though. It was a very nice change of pace for the... More
