We have been to Castle Cornet before and each Tim Ethel noon gun fire makes me jump. Great place to go for a couple of hours, lovely views from the towers etc. Well worth a visit.

Yes you do have to pay, but it's quite a nice walk down and there are lovely views back towards the town and out to sea.
