We recently visited Brixham as we heard about the new Coco Lounge on the harbour. We love Coco in Torquay so thought we would give it a try. Stunning cocktail lounge with panoramic view of Brixham harbour. Relaxed with a great atmosphere.

worth walking round the coast to there is a quicker way via the roads but the coastal path well worth it if your reasonably fit not wheelchair accessible

The fishing harbour and marina at Brixham are interesting places to visit. The fishing harbour is always a place of activity with trawlers arriving to land their catch and leaving for the fishing grounds. From the viewing balcony it is possible to watch all of...More

Absolutely one of my favourite parts of the country. A wonderful atmosphere, very quaint with lots of little independent shops, lovely cafes and restaurants, boat and fishing trips. So much to see and do in the local area.

A lovely small harbour. It's just nice to sit by the harbour and just watch the world go by. (Even better if you've got a pint in your hand. Nice pubs and eating houses to choose from. Parking at the harbour can be a bit...More

There’s generally activity in the harbour to keep you interested, from the large sea-going trawlers to the open rowing gigs – and lots more in between. There’s the large commercial fish market, lots of fish & chip shops, other tourist shops and the opportunity to...More

Lovely little harbour. But a lack of fishing boats. I suspect some where out fishing but imagine many have been lots to the economic conditions. Nice to have a walk around. Busy little place.

I have probably been to Brixham Harbour 4 times. There is always something new to see and do. You can eat or have a drink right at the side of the Harbour and watch the world pass by. Highly recommended to understand how the trawlers...More

I'm thinking of visiting Brixham for a few days in December but am worried it will be lifeless during the winter. Is it worth me visiting. My last visit to Brixham was over 30 years ago and i have fond memories of the place.

there is always enough to do and don't forget that there is a configuration of resorts along the coast easily accessible by bus including Torquay. there are plenty of exhibitions on year-round not to mention art galleries.

Is there much to see and do in Brixham in October or is it deserted by then, i'm thinking of a short break in the area then to potter around.

I agree,I first visited Brixham in October. I feared the same thing..... Don't worry, this is a lovely little town anytime. There will be a couple of places that close early, but only because we,as tourists don't visit them... More
