I guess I'm spoilt by living next to a substantially bigger and better one. This open space offers good views and some animals in the distance and is great for those living locally. Has parking. And offers a quiet place to relax in.

Great place for a walk with the dog or young family on a nice day. Parking is unusually cheap for National Trust, and the Home Farm Cafe is a great spot for a bit of lunch after your walk.

A lovely place o walk on the edge of Dartmoor, woods, streams, old railway lines to walk down. Peaceful, very enjoyable with good catering facilities when exercise is done.

I always enjoy walking here but prefer it in the Winter and Spring when there are fewer visitors. There are well marked paths, mostly with a gravel surface, which pass through woodland and along the river. Its very popular with local dog owners.
