Thoroughly enjoyable walks through lovely countryside. Very relaxing way to spend a few hours, easy to find, plenty of parking.

Absolutely loved the scenery, it doesn’t get much more idyllic. Options for the hardy (2 hours plus) Walker and less daunting options for the less adventurous. Walking aside the river is very cathartic.

A river, woods and old disused railway - and even a medieval weir to investigate! What fun! Dogs loved playing in the river and then we enjoyed the excellent coffee at Home Farm Cafe afterwards.

A great place to visit for a long walk through fantastic scenic woodland by a stream. There is so much to see and take in, the entire area is fascinating

Lovely walks through the woods along the river. The tea rooms are excellent. We had the pork cobbler and beef wellington both of which were superb. Well worth a visit. £2 to park if you're not a NT member, free if you are

There are walks here for everyone. It's dog friendly and the river offers opportunities for a swim too. The walks are clearly marked and it's a joy in all seasons. Just remember wellies or boots as it's muddy in places

Walks of various lengths and difficulty, well described. An orchard and gardens. And an excellent cafe. Parking is £2 all day or free for NT members. Good place to park for town if you don't mind a walk.
