Such a peaceful spot - added bonus of the Badgers Holt Tea Room. Beautiful to watch and listen to the water. Could sit there all day.

We have been several times to Dartmeet. The children love to go and play on and around the stones, the river Dart and the old clapper bridge remains. We love to get out away from the "tablets" etc (how that meaning has changed) so we...More

There is Exmoor, Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor. Experience them all, they are all different and I have no favorite. Dartmoor deserves sufficient time to explore. And a visit in all seasons....

What a lovely, picturesque part of my most favourite place in the world. Well-kept stopping place in fabulous surroundings. The river is beautiful and the tea rooms are delightful. Plenty of parking and room to walk.

Stunning scenery. Could watch the flow of water over the rocks for hours. Very peaceful. There is also a cafe and toilets nearby.

I love a visit to Dartmouth. It always makes me think of fairies for some reason. It is quiet and secluded, surrounded by greenery. I love a walk around the big stones listening to the gushing water. Simply beautiful.
