Pretty standard visitors center. Friendly and helpful people. Lots of information about the area. some nice displays and a gift shop. Pay and display parking is behind it. If you need direction to things, this is the place to get it.

Great place to visit, very informative about the area of Dartmoor and the history. The building is where Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote the Sherlock Holmes novel ‘The Hound of the Baskervilles’. Definitely worth a visit if you’re out and about on the Moors.
