Very small museum but we partly came for Sherlock Holmes and were excited to learn about his visit at the same building in the past when he wrote Hound. The center did a good job explaining that history to us.

Exhibition area quite small but very interesting and interactive. Small shop but excellent products. Loos spacious and clean. Lady on the till very helpful and friendly.

The helpful staff recommended a walk from one of their inexpensive but robust leaflets. It contained a 5 mile walk, 6 mile and 1 mile walk. We did the two longer ones.
