I visited the pitch & putt yesterday afternoon and although the course was busy (we had to wait at most tee's), the time flew past because of the beautiful views! Not an easy course, especially when you haven't picked up a golf club for years, but we had many a laugh and the course was in great condition. It was... More

We visit the Pitch & Putt regularly, it's a great way to get some exercise and great fun. Whenever, we have family down it's always on the list of things to do. It's cheap, it's fun and you get to spend an hour or so out in the sunshine.

Just the two of us playing on a really hot sunny day. Lovely setting overlooking the sea with a welcome breeze. It was £10 per person which included two clubs and two balls, plus £3 per person deposit for the clubs/balls. Good fun and recommended.

I moved from Devon to Somerset 15 years ago and it must have been a few years before that was the last time I played pitch and putt at Shaldon (there used to be one at Dawlish too up behind the swimming pool). Nothing much has changed, though I fancy the hut is a bit bigger, although there is netting... More

Rather a sloping site which adds to the fun. Open all year and provides fun and games for all ages. In a lovely setting at the top of the cliffs overlooking the English Channel.

A lovely afternoon spent playing golf here! Found a few balls, enjoyed the views and got fit with the slopes! Great time and will return! Next time without a buggy and baby!

We went together to the pitch and put as a group of friends, the views are excellent and the pitch and put is as you'd imagine. Even the great British weather didn't put us off, we all had a really good laugh and will visit again the next time we are in Shaldon.

You get more than you pay for in my opinion, on the views alone. Great fun, and while the greens are a tad wanting, it's easy enough to get round without too many course-based frustrations. Pretty reasonable price too. Would recommend going early evening during the summer.

Went with chums to practice pitching - great way to hone skills. It's not St Andrews, and your not paying St Andrews rates, but great views, great fun and great practice with a few laughs. Beginner at golf or seasoned veteran, it is just practice combined with a bit of fun. Go for it.
