The small zoo making a big difference! Set in an acre of woodland garden above the attractive coastal village of Shaldon, we look after, and help preserve, some of the rarest and most endangered animals in the world.

A delightful small zoo tucked away under the Ness. We had Christmas gift vouchers to Feed the Meerkats (only £25); not a long experience as they are greedy little creatures and it was very cold and windy. We were invited to enter the enclosure and...More

We visited Shaldon zoo again yesterday-- nice sunny day, and most of the animals were outside, and lively. As usual, there is more to see than you think. Staff are friendly by and large, and seem to really care. We recall a zoo being here...More

A nice little zoo! All the animals are well cared for and their enclosures are interesting. Great place for a quick trip to Teignmouth/Shaldon :)

Small zoo, children particularly liked the small monkeys and feeding the meerkats. Not a large place but good for an hour or so.

Came here for an afternoon out and the children really enjoyed it! It's not your typical zoo and has some very unusual animals/creatures in it! We only spent a couple of hours here which was enough, it's set in a hillside and the environment seems...More

Love this zoo for the natural setting and the smaller animals you don't see so much in bigger zoos. Recommend giving it a try
