waited until it was dark then had a walk around the ground floor of the home and continued outside to walk around the gardens, different colours of lights highlighted willow animals and music was being played, the light show certainly added a different feeling and view of Knighthayes Court

This National Trust house and gardens is tucked away and not somewhere you easily stumble across... but it's worth seeking out and taking a walk through the beautiful gardens, which provide stunning views. We didn't have time to walk through the house, but after a lovely walk we did reward ourselves with a cup of tea and some delicious cake.

Had a great morning with the children. Lots of area to run around in and my wife could also enjoy all of the different and quite exotic plants and trees that they have. The new wicker animals are brilliant and well worth a look at. As good as Killerton but very different.

Semi- ignore your sat- nav, as the last mile can be difficult - the lack of N T signs does not help. Unfortunately, the day we visited ( 3rd of January ) risking bad luck, the Christmas decorations were being stripped out - well before '12th Night '. Very disappointing. What we could see was fascinating and impressed us sufficiently... More

As a member of the National Trust I've visited a lot of properties and I would have to say this is my favourite so far. We visited the weekend before Christmas to see Santa and take advantage of their night opening. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas with a lovely seasonal feel. Unfortunately upstairs was closed but the rooms... More

Stopped off here on our journey to Exeter. Being National Trust Members, entry was free. Very nice walk around the estate first, then into the house. Very spacious rooms, all decorated for Christmas. Very helpful and informed staff. Then into cafe for sandwich and tea. Toilet facilities excellent, and ample parking. We will be returning soon with the grandchildren.

Recently visited here with my husband. We had an amazing time. Even thought it was December the weather was amazing and the views were beautiful. The house was lovely to walk around too. Definitely recommend.

A beautiful property, with stunning grounds and a fantastic play area for children of any age where their imagination can just flow. Will definitely be returning, staff we're incredibly friendly here to which was great, although cafe staff seemed stressed

Knightshays is well worth a visit if one is in the Tiverton area. A beautiful stately home and gorgeous grounds including trails through woods, farms, and a spectacular kitchen garden. Although popular and crowded on weekends, it provides a quiet respite.
