We arrived at Woolacombe beach to take photos of a wedding we were attending. It is beautiful, large beach. Plenty of parking. Life guards. Shops and toilets all within walking distance. Fast food just off the beach. Dogs are allowed on leads in one section of the beach.

Large, flat beach, with safe waters. Beach is always well maintained. Plenty of rock pools for children to play in. Toilets, cafe and hire facilities are handy. Beach has swings and small railway for children.

We visited on a daily basis with the dogs and walked miles. Sperb views and very dog-friendly, particularly before April 1st, when there become some exceptions, but still agreat beach.

Lovely beach, clean and tidy. Lots of sand, some rock pools, lovely little town nearby with lots of restaurants and ice cream shops. Parking is expensive but worth it.

Very well maintained beach, really enjoyed our day here. There's shops and toilets near by. Cat park is a little pricey but you expect that for the beach. Some great shops around if you need to buy anything.

Visited late May but the weather was great. Fantastic large Sandy beach and large waves perfect for surfing. Good parking and toilets available next to the beach Shops and snacks also on the edge of the sand. Totally recommended.

I have been coming to Woolacombe beach for about 20 years. It is really one of the best beaches around. Fantastic for holiday makers and surfers. So clean and tidy. Brilliant views

This is a really stunning flat sandy beach stretching for about 2 miles south of Woolacombe on Barnstable Bay. Being a flat and shallow beach it opens up dramatically at low tide.
