Visited here last evening. It is described as are deco but I think think it is slightly more quirky than that. Certainly old fashioned. Film Loving very good. Followed by a speaker a lawyer who was a little too verbose for me.

Was in the area so went to see Rob Beckett, which had sold out. Was able to pick up a couple of returns but was very impressed by the helpful staff and volunteers. A really interesting building

It's a lovely unusual building, with unique painted panels and a nice bar. Friendly atmosphere. Has good shows, films, concerts too.

A beautiful old cinema, such an interesting building too. We went to see Nine Below Zero and had a great night out. Comfortable seats, plenty of room to dance, spotlessly clean ladies toilets which are beautifully decorated. The Electric Palace is a real treat not to be missed venue and worth supporting to keep it going.

Really enjoyed my first ever gig at the electric palace. Lovely old style theatre building. There are some seats and a good sized standing area near the stage. Reef were fantastic too! Looking forward to watching another gig there soon

I was sorry to see a poor review from 2009 given such prominence. Even if the comments were justified at the time - and I don't think so - it's changed in the last 7 years. ( What hasn't?) It's a most characterful venue and provides an impressive range of shows and events in a small town. It's really popular... More

Great venue......just make sure your not thirsty....went to see Dreadzone who were great, loved the theatre but unfortunately woefully under staffed, so made getting a drink virtually impossible!! shame as it was sold out so you would have thought they would have been prepared.... they missed an opportunity to make a lot more money on the night! definitely go again...
