Booked on the disco boat in hope that we would have a good view of the Fireworks for the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Forth Road Bridge. We weren't disappointed. Joined the boat from Hawes Pier at 8pm (more signage saying that Forth Tours left from here would have been helpful) and set sail for the middle of the Forth... More

What a fantastic way to spend the afternoon! We took our 8 year-old daughter aboard the Forth Belle and had a wonderful trip around the Forth Railway and Road bridges with a visit to Inchcolm Island. The commentary was most informative and the views of Edinburgh and surrounding areas were stunning. On the way to the island we saw seals... More

Bought 3 vouchers to take with us on holiday to Edinburgh, and we could not have picked a perfect day to go, sun was out, was very warm and it was just a brill day to go out on a boat. Once we were all safely in the boat, the crew kept us well informed and were very cheery and... More

I went on the tour and stopped at the island last weekend with my partner's family. It was absolutely fantastic! It was pooring down with rain and we still had a wonderful day. There is a commentary on board telling you about everything you see and our Sea Captain! added extra information, going especially slowly round the seals and puffins... More

Why bother with wordy details? This was a delightful trip and one which we (two sets of parents with two small boys) shall certainly do again. The boat is amazingly smooth and quiet, there isn't too much tartan nonsense and the commentary is clear (proper speakers), interesting and intelligent. Inchcolm Island is beautiful and fascinating and well worth the extra... More

We took our 1 and 2 year old children out on the boat trip, and got off at Inchcolm Island. Was a lovey afternoon out, do take a picnic with a hot flask as there isnt a cafe on the Island. Lots to explore and quiet magical! Was great to be able to let the kids run around and climb... More

We got a Groupon Voucher for the Forth River Boat Cruise...£9 for two which was excellent value. Although it did cost is £18 for the return bus for two out to the cruise and back. The cruise was very informative...and even though it was raining and very windy, we enjoyed the hour and a half cruise on the choppy waters.... More

I have gone over the Forth bridges so many times without wondering what was underneath me, and i now realise what a mistake that was! I would definetly recommend getting the pass that gives you access onto the island as it was so interesting seeing all the remenants from world wars past. We saw loads of seals and the island... WE went on one of the jazz cruises that are run once a month during the summer. Sett off from South Queensferry (which isn't in East Lothian despite what tripadvbisor says!) Really, really enjoyed it. You go out with a four piece jazz band plating in the corner and cruise along the river Forth in the Evening. There was a... More
