"Fantastic Experience" Fast rib trips to spectacular Isle of May, sailing from Anstruther. We offer landing trips which give 2 to 3 hours ashore or alternately shorter 2 hour trips which gives plenty of time to view the world renown wildlife around the island from the boat. We operate the boats from the ticket office at the following address.

This was a really good fun trip on the 12 seat high horse powered rib Osprey. We left at 2 pm and after approximately 30 minutes arrived on the Isle of May for an afternoon of exploring, which was a really amazing experience. This island is steeped in ancient and modern history, and a sea bird sanctuary. We were there... More

My husband booked this trip for six of us, ages 8 to 75. We had no idea what we were getting into, and when the captain brought out head to toe waterproof suits and life preservers, we almost refused to go. First, the waterproofs were all clean, and fresh, so we didn't mind having to wear them. The ride out... More

We can highly recommend the Coastal Dash trip, which we took from Anstruther in calm sea conditions last Sunday. The advance online booking was very straightforward, and was on the Osprey fast RIB/Zodiac boat - led by Roy. We chose the trip as we wanted to introduce our 4 year old and 8 year old children to a faster boat... More

Fantastic trip on the Osprey today with Captain Roy who was more than accommodating. He gave us great information on the island and even guided the boat into a cave for a sneaky peak. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Will definitely be going back next year to see the puffins!

I'd missed seeing puffin birds on Shetlands (no car and too far otherwise) and was really disappointed. Heard about Isle of May and then had to choose between the ferry and the speedy dinghy. Really glad we chose the latter....really fun, felt more adventurous. Capt'n great, reassuring. We had the added delight of setting a baby puffin which had got... More

This trip on Osprey to the Isle of May is something I have wanted to do for a couple of years, now. It did not disappoint, and in fact it exceeded my expectations. What a fantastic experience and it rates as one of my all time favourite days out. We enjoyed every minute. It helped that we had a beautiful... More

Great day. Our guide was excellent, really informative and entertaining. The boat was comfy and a fun ride there and back (and quick) with loads to see. I thought it would be good, but it exceeded my expectations as a day out as the historical elements were interesting and extraordinary. Breathtaking views in every direction. Would love to go again,

myself and my 14 year old daughter took this trip today, cant recommend it enough. my best advice is "push the boat out" ( pun intended) go for the most expensive trip, its a fast boat to the island, you get most time there ( a top seabird nature reserve) and a thrilling ride to boot. if you want a...
