We had booked the Bird of Prey Experience for my 2 teenagers, and what an amazing experience it was! They got to handle a hawk and 2 different types of owls, while staff told us all about them. After the experience we were free to explore the park and see all the other animals too. There were bears, deer, wolves,... More

We visited the centre last Sunday and received such a warm welcome from the lady on the reception desk. The kids had a great time and loved being able to feed the deer. There was plenty of space for them to run around and they enjoyed seeing all the animals and the bird display. Nice little park too for them... More

Admittedly we got a heavily discounted entry on Groupon so that may flavour how "awesome" we thought this attraction was! We came on an unusually bright February day but we still needed to wrap up super warm as it was very windy (the falconry display was held in a semi-circular embankment of earth to minimise the wind & the birds... Not the cheapest place you'll ever go and if you just wander round it's like most animal places, hit or a miss if you see anything. However, I'd highly recommended visiting here if you go round with the ranger at feeding time. It's absolutely excellent. All animals become visible and interactive and you learn so much about them.

I wanted to visit as wolves are my favourite animals however I hated it as the poor beasts are kept a small enclosure. They looked very bored. It is supposed to be accessible to wheelchairs but the path to the wolves, lynx and bears is so rough I was tossed about so much we had to give up. The main... More

We got half price entry with itison, and what excellent value it was.We saw and fed several types of deer, watched the falconry display, the otter family and then had a tour of the other animals-wolves, bears, lynx, Scottish wild cats and a red fox with the dedicated and very interesting staff on hand. The cafe was cosy, the food good... More

Fab time at the deer centre on Thursday with my 2 young children, the staff in the visitor/shop area were super friendly and great with the children. It was a very cold day and quiet as Fife schools were still on, that worked to our advantage as we got a very personal nose to nose with the hand reared deer... More

THE ANIMALS ARE FANTASTIC, MANY TYPES OF DEER, WOLVES, LYNX SCOTTISH WILD CAT, FOX, AND EUROPEAN BROWN BEARS. A very good falconry display, one of the best that I have seen and European short toed otters. All this with really good, entertaining talks about the habitat, history and the animals themselves. Many adverse reviews seem to criticise the trimmings. For... More

how nice to stop in such an interesting and varied location. Aside from the animals the shopping and food facilities make this ideal - and plenty parking, Not so hungry, but the great quality coffee and home made scone were very welcome.
