Leven is a nice town .The beach is huge and has loads of golden sand.3 rigs can be seen just ofshore. Car parks are free.We went to see the touring pitches at the caravan site which were right at the beach but they were spoilt a little by a mesh fence at the edge of the site.Still might stay there... Leven beach on a warm unwindy day is lovely but how many unwindy days do you get in Scotland lol? It is lovely to look at however my only warning is to be careful as I found some diabetic needles flung away on the sand which my 2 year old picked up! I immediately put them in the bin. But... More

A lovely beach from the East end of the caravan park towards Lundin Links. Not so great in the other direction. Good fine sand with a gentle slope great for the kids paddling.

We have visited this beach several times and never disappointed. My kids love spending time running along the sand and paddling (even if its in wellies). They played on the bouncy castle which is great value at £2 for half hr. There is a small park right beside it but further along the promenade there is a skate park and... More

As far as Fife beaches go (and there tends to be around 17) with the exception of West Sands in St.Andrews this one is probably second best. Just like West Sands the real gem in this beach is the low tide when you can walk on the beach. On a good day and with a lot of work I recommend... More

You do need to mind you dont go to the dog area... it's not always pleasant. However if your further along on the area where dog's arent permitted it is nice and clean. Lovely on a summers day. Few parks for the kids and a nice grassy area to play on as well. If your really game, you can walk... More

Leven beach is superb for walking dogs on. It is kept beautifully clean and you can walk for miles. It is amazing being there on a windy dayou watching the waves crash onto the beach. Great place to collect sea glass and seashells.
