Now called the North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre. Great place to go to find out about how to trace your family tree. Plenty of other interesting things to view as well.

A great place to visit and find out about the history of the town and surrounding districts. Very helpful and friendly staff too.

You would be hard pushed to spend more than an hour here, but still a great place to visit for an insight into the local area, and the viewing tower provides a great vista over the entirety of Lanarkshire.
