The Watermill is an impressive little complex comprising a bookshop, gallery and coffee shop. As the gallery was closed in preparation for a new exhibition we could only look round the bookshop which has an eclectic mix of subjects and is well worth a lazy browse.

A lovely shop where you can easily lose track of time, especially if you go down stairs for a coffee and then go back up for another browsing session. There is also a good art exhibition on the top floor. Staff are welcoming and knowledgeable.

Been here a few times now and it is not to be missed if you are near Aberfeldy. The coffee is as good as it gets in my opinion and there is a variety of fresh cakes always on offer. Lovely and relaxing with a great bookshop upstairs.

We like going to the Watermill bookshop and gallery as a day out from home. The cafe is good and the book selection is wonderfully interesting. We always find a book that we love, or more! The exhibitions of art are good and the whole place is very inviting and relaxing. I do think that the cafe could change the... More

Many thanks for your support - we are glad you enjoy a day out at The Watermill. Thanks also for the suggestion re: Toast which we will look at. We are always on the lookout for new food options but we have to be selective because our kitchen is very small. As a consequence, rather than having too long a... More

Peruse the books then downstairs for coffee. No wonder this place is so popular, the bookshop alone is worth a visit. Quirky building with a huge variety of books, and not surprised it has been named as one of scotlands 75 hidden gems. It's a great place for a visit. We always pop in when in Aberfeldy and we will... Popped in for a cosy cuppa on a cold and damp day. They had a wide range of lovely teas, and a great selection of cakes. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Any book you could want. If not in stock they will get it in the next day! Quite extraordinary service. Lovely coffee in the cafe, friendly staff and in the middle of a gorgeous town.

What a gem this place is. both from the bookstore and café point of view. Picturesque and good quality. You can't pass Aberfaldy and not pop by The Watermill ! When it's very busy I'm not sure the seating system works (take a seat and someone will come). It felt a bit messy with people who just arrived ordering while... More
