Stopped here after a visit to Bunnahabhain Distillery on a wet afternoon . Met with a warm welcome and some lovely tea, coffee, scones and cakes all made by the owner. The scones were the best we had anywhere as was the brownie. The owner kindly gave us her recipe for her scones. While having tea we watched her paint... More

We were lucky to be able to watch a lady at work on a couple of her ceramics. So interesting. Some lovely pieces to purchase. Tea, coffee and cakes were available. It does not open until midday.

Nice welcome & lovely tea & scones on a cold rainy windy afternoon - however we bought 2 soup/ cereal bowls which have only lasted 4-5 months - now chipped, cracked & definitely not as good quality as other potteries. Pots are imported from China & just painted & glazed in Islay - wouldn't recommend buying any Have nice tea... More

Choices are limited on Islay when the weather's poor but if you have children to entertain for a couple of hours then this is a great choice. Although the studio is quite small there is a good range of ceramics to decorate and a seated area for parents to have some coffee or tea. The owner is very attentive and... More

We stayed at the B&B here during our stay on Islay (also to be recommended!) and popped in to look at the pottery and have a cuppa and cake after one of our cycle rides. Well worth a visit! Rosemary is a lovely host, very friendly, and the tea and home baking was just the ticket after our adventures. The... More

While we ate our lunch the lovely hostess was helping a very young boy make a hand made plate to give to his Mum for her birthday. We enjoyed the meal and... More
