Great for some Pub Grub

The food here is fantastic. We went with a friend recently and we really enjoyed the food however, don't go if you want fine dining, it's more pub grub which we also love.

Restaurant had big portions but the food was pretty bland. Pasta was quite tasteless. No kids menu unfortunately .

We spent the morning here, and there was one exhibit that really impressed us, the dismantled loom, with lights and music. All the children in the room were enthralled! Good cafe/restaurant, and gift shop too.

An absolute gem in Stornaway. Superb meeting place for film buffs and locals which I believe is run as a charity. What a resource for the town. We only had just over an hour but we spent it here. Had a lovely coffee and cake. Staff were really chatty and pleasant. I lusted after the ram behind the bar. Thanks... More

It would fit in any cosmopolitan city or town. A lovely eye-catching building. A mix of things inside though on the day I was there I visited and exhibition, small gift shop and cafe.

Paid a couple of visits during our stay in Stornoway and very impressed with the variety of activities and facilities on offer. Had coffee here a couple of times as well as lunch before our ferry and always had very good service from the staff. Good functional food.

Great exhibits and lots of interesting events. Great way to learn about the island and its art. Very nice café too, with excellent food.

This gallery is opposite the ferry terminal and was the place we headed for yesterday in between arriving and departing on the Ullapool ferry. We had less than an hour to grab a coffee. The cafe, upstairs, was an excellent choice. Good hot coffees, I had chocolate cake and my husband had the lemon cake, all delicious. Staff were polite,... More
