Although the distillery wasn't working when I was there, the tour was still very interesting. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour which made the tour (and tasting) a lot of fun. Despite not being a whisky afficiando (unlike most...More

If you're in Tobermory, a visit to it's 18th century distillery is a must. Though production is temporarily halted as they retrofit some of the older equipment, the tour is excellent and the tasting opportunity fabulous. If you're fan of peaty whiskies, then go for...More

A really good place to visit with small groups of visitors each tour. The wee dram at the end is also very tasty. Beware they are going to be undertaking some refurbishments to the distillery in the coming months up to a year of more,...More

Enjoyed a taster session of Tobermory whisky having already visited the distillery in Oban. Different taste but equally enjoyable. The building is also fascinating, very old and quaint. Tobermory is a lovely harbour town, well worth visiting.

The distillery is out of action at the moment. It's getting parts replaced like for like and the buildings having a bit maintenance. So no production for 18 months or so bit that's not a problem as the tour was quality and the guide was...More

You can take your car on the ferry and i think a return is about £26 + individual passenger prices. You can get a bus from the ferry to Tobermory which is about £20 return.
