About Lussa Gin Distillery
We are three women distilling Lussa Gin at the north end of the Isle of Jura using 15 botanicals we can grow or gather from the island. We'd love to show you around our small distillery and we are open Monday to Friday from 10am until 4.30pm. We're unable to let visitors in if we're distilling, so check in with us first if you're planning to make the trip.

Was advised to visit here by friends First off it’s a bit of a drive on single track road so beware With that in mind there are great views along the way and the gin is worth it Were met by the owners who were informative and friendly Good amount of products and sizes of bottles The gin itself is one of,if not the best I have tried Smooth and sweet Well worth the visit to the island just got this

A trip to visit the ladies making the Lussa Gin was a highlight of my Jura trip. Fascinating to learn all about the botanicals and flavourings that make this gin so special. I love their enthusiasm for such a brilliant product: certainly didn't know about the rose, lemon thyme and ground elder requirements. Happy to buy a bottle so can try different ways of enjoying it. Beautiful packaging too. Do go!

Nice to drink without a mixer or ice - in fact its a shame to miss out on the flavours if you mix. Also try the bramble gin. Very friendly in their small distillery - even though its a bit chilly in winter.

I am a huge Scotland fan, especially from the Isle of Jura, and part of an independent whisky bottler company. So two things come together: my love for the Isle of Jura and my passion for distillates. So it was obvious to visit Lussa Gin. Two things: a great gin is produced. Very well-balanced and with botanicals that only grow on Jura. Furthermore, Georgina had told us everything about the gin in a very warm and open way. That was a great visit, which I recommend very much! The visit should be announced before.

The single track road to the distillery is not for the faint hearted but the views made it worthwhile. Claire, Alicia and Georgina gave us a warm welcome and the story of their gin and botanicals was fascinating. The gin's pretty amazing too but we bought a couple of bottles just to make sure... Contact them first if you're coming a long way as they can't let visitors in if they're distilling.
