Popped in for a look round the shop and a chat. Young guy with a beanie hat (sorry I forgot his name) was very knowledgeable. Had some good chat regarding the different options. Tasted 5 whiskies and bought a bottle of the Seven wood and the Paps. Thank you.

Difficult to get to unless you are already on Islay, but we’ll worth the detour, or stay awhile in the pleasant Jura hotel. Informative and friendly tour of the distillery followed by a welcome dram and opportunity to purchase. Souvenirs more reasonably priced than most of the Islay alternatives.

We ended up with a private tour. Informative with an excellent tour guide. Nice to take away your dram if you are driving. An enjoyable tour. Jura is well worth a visit

We booked the £15 tasting tour and it was fantastic. We made the trip from a whisky weekend on Islay and it was well worth the effort. Fiona was our tour guide and she made the tour with her knowledge of the whisky and the island. We tasted lots of drams at the end and the tasting room is very special. Will not visit Islay without a trip to Jura now!
