Fab place for a quiet walk. Get some ideas for your own garden The staff do an amazing job. The indoor display of cacti is well worth an explore too. This is great if the weather turns wet. It is possible to explore the water feature area at the bottom of the gardens how do they get grass so green?

these gardens/greenhouses are a credit to the guys who tend & grow everything here. Beautifully laid out, with a few unusual plants too.

We arrived in brilliant sunshine only to have to take shelter within minutes from a rainstorm. Gardens are beautiful and a credit to those responsible. As had been so wet could not sit and admire just walked around. I wonder if they are visited as much as should be. The tearoom which I remember years ago as being fantastic now... More

We had seen a sign for these gardens and was able to be dropped off on the main road and walk up to the gardens (quite a steep climb of about half a mile). The gardens are immaculately kept and owned by the local council who raise the plants for use in the gardens down in Rothesay, which are absolutely... More

Garden is well worth a visit for flower lovers. Beautifully laid out we spent some time just sitting enjoying the colour and the view over to the sea. Free to enjoy, they have plants for sale which were very reasonably priced.

After a forest walk accessed from the Serpentine Road; near the start, don't panic, a great place to visit- it's the council plant nursery, but it's laid out really well, and the othouse plants are amazing. There are also an aviary, where, when we were there, you could see the parakeet chicks in their nest. Entry is free, donations are... More

Signposted from the coast road. Not quite what I expected. Entrance via a gate in the wall. No entrance fee. Flower beds of beautifully planted bedding, many begonias. Greenhouses for propagation of bedding and other plants. Some caged birds. A water feature running through several flower beds. Interesting to visit. Good views.

These gardens along the front in Rothsay are stunning. The colour and variety of plants used create a beautiful picture for those who sit on a warm sunny day. Nothing is out of place and I think it would be hard to find many to compare with these. They are a credit to the gardeners who tend them.

These gardens are very special because of the incedible number of flowers and the breath taking views. They have birds there alos and glass houses full of blooms.
