Peaceful area Beautiful colours in the azaleas in particular. Wide open parkland in front of the old castle gives a spectacular view. Two lovely lochs to walk alongside. Staff very friendly and helpful. Admission price very reasonable. Good size of car park.

Wonderful and extensive grounds and a colourful garden. The helpful map gives options for the range of walks and the little tea room was exactly what we needed to escape a violent rain storm!

I love this part of the gardens at Castle Kennedy. Find the entrance opposite the derelict tower/castle, open the beautiful gate and step into a magical garden world, surrounded by high walls, but with a stunning view of the old tower/castle. The central part of...More

Several walks, all colour coded and easy to follow, take you through the grounds. They are not as long as indicated, so don't be put off. Tea Shop serves food freshly prepared. Allow about 2 hours.

We had a nice visit to the gardens with our dog. My favourite part was the walled garden which was packed with lovely colourful flowers. As we were on a fairly tight timescale, we didn't spend the whole day but we did walk part way...More

Nice extensive landscaped gardens, worth a visit if you are in the area. We visited on a very hot June afternoon, the walled garden was full of colour and our dog enjoyed a long walk in the Monkey Tree wooded area in the shade. There...More

A very attractive landscape garden with good vistas and lovely walks. Ruined castle adds to the views. Attractive walled garden largely planted with herbaceous plants

Visited today with our senior Springer spaniel and the gardens were delightful. The staff were very friendly and the food in the tea rooms delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Hi Alison, I think you can just go into the cafe, but you would be missing a treat if you didn't have a stroll round the gardens!

We welcome all dogs and dog owners at Castle Kennedy Gardens, as long as the dogs are well behaved and on leads. There are no restrictions as to where you can go, although we prefer dogs not to go into the tearoom.
