It's true the distillery doesn't seem to be.open for tours right now. The new owner is doing lots of work in the distillery (probably the reason it's not open for visitors) and has shops in Australia and the U.S. I know you can buy Bladnoch in a good wine and spirits shop in Stranraer and online. We all hope it... More

It was a pleasant drive out there during a visit to Wigstown but when we arrived it was all closed up and apparently under extensive renovation when I knockdown the door of the office. Best to phone ahead if you are a dedicated fan!

The distillery tour is fascinating, although I believe it has been suspended during renovations at present. Phone ahead to check. Recently changed ownership, the new 'distiller' has great plans to expand the operation. Great tour, and a nice wee dram at the end.

called in as we were passing, they were undergoing work on the public areas. stocks are very low in the shop but the lady who was attending the shop was lovely. The good news is that a new owner has been found and things are looking very bright for the future

Before visiting Bladnoch Distillery I was aware that it had entered administration earlier in the year (2015) and a new buyer had just been found in the last two weeks. Because of this, they are currently not doing tours although they should be early next year. The primary reason for visiting was just to see the shop since we passed... More

Called to visit this place but told it was in liquidation awaiting new ownership. Could be really interesting but the site needs a revamp in order to make it worthwhile to visit.

Hopefully it will shortly be in new ownership. So nice to see it still in business. Well worth a visit if you are in the area and a great dram. Also there is a good distillery shop. Currently open Mon - Friday Looking forward to tasting the new spirit.

No longer does tours - in liquidation and apparently has not done tours for around a year. The gift shop is still open but there is a poor choice of merchandise. The whiskey that remains in there is also rather expensive and no means of tasting before you buy which would have been essential for me to have purchased any.... More
