I love the art pieces made by the artists who sculpt metal as well as the gift shop. This museum is very interesting and informative about metal works of art. You can even sometimes see an artist at work. One of my favorite gems to...More

It was a hot and steamy summer day in Memphis, but the exhibits and spaces of the Brooks were cool, quiet and beautiful

We visited during a memphis downpour. The museum was practically empty, maybe 10 people in there besides us. I enjoyed the museum- it was quiet and the docents are friendly and knowledgeable. There is a nice local flavor to some of the exhibits so you...More

This museum wasn't part of our original plan but it was a nice experience. It only took about an hour to see everything. It wasn't crowded.

I've been here multiple times with friends, by myself, with my boyfriend. It has an amazing permanent exhibit that I've seen tons of times but the traveling exhibits are always amazing and innovative. I highly recommend anyone to go to this art museum.

Came here because of the rain. This is a small museum without many major masterpieces. Description of the art was well written for each piece of painting. Certainly a smaller museum for a city this size.

The current special exhibition, A Feast for the Eyes: 200 Years of American Still-Life Painting from the Hevrdejs Collection is well-done and interesting. We didn't have time to see much of the permanent collection. The grounds are nice and there's a coffee shop cafe.
