My wife and I like to visit art museums. This one turned out to be one of the best that we have visited in a number of years. We just happened to go here on a day when admission was free and they had the Red Grooms exhibits. The staff was just wonderfully helpful in guiding us through the various... More

You will enjoy the variety of art shown here. In the foyer were unique and modern ballet dancers conveying the artist's messages. In many inner rooms you'll see elegant furnishings, including gorgeous furniture and elegant paintings. In addition you'll see more interesting modern work.

Nice wide range of art here. The staff was awesome! I met a super nice guy named Rahleecoh, he is very intelligent and knows a lost about art. Let this guy run the museum! Overall a great visit. thanks!

The Brooks is a beautiful place to visit, but the collection was not the best. Still, a fun break from the hot July sun.

There is always something new at the Brooks! There are family days (usually free) and special movie days. The permanent collection has something for everyone. There is a special room for children with several activities on the third floor.

If you are an art lover, this is a great stop. It is free on Wednesdays. There is some great pieces with some local artists. Unfortunately it is under renovating so some of it is closed off. The building is beautiful in itself.

This is a nicely run museum. The permanent collection is a little too broad for my taste - tries to do a bit too much with its resources. But they do a very good job of attracting and sometimes curating special exhibitions and events, some of which are quite quirky. The Museum's annual Dia del los Muertos party is tremendous... More

We have visited the Brooks many times through the years but it had been a while. We enjoyed the permanent collections but the exhibit by local and surrounding high school students was incredible. We have some great artists to look forward to in the future. Thanks Brooks for showcasing their works. It was a great way to spend a Sunday... More

Tucked in a scenic park area - there's street parking in walking distance. It should be noted only a handful of exhibit rooms were open. Most were either under renovation or in the midst of installation. So there was not much to see. It looks like there will be a cafe store and many exhibits when they are done. If... More
