We enjoyed our visit as it was part of a reciprocal program with our local botanical society and thus had free admission. We can’t believe the visiting artist and the intricate work done with paper. The gardens were nice but there were roses blooming again....More

I didn't have much time for the gardens, so I went into the art museum. As my luck has been on this month-long art-hunting trip with a NARM (North American Reciprocal Museums) pass, most of the museum was closed to do new installations. A very...More

I stopped here for the art. I found the garden to rather blah and only walked around to kill some time. For art, this is a nice stop to see a wonderful Monet, Pissaro, Cezanne, Renoir, Sisley, and some other art and objects. Happy that...More

The gardens are very peaceful, and we wandered for a while before going inside. The collections there are small but beautiful, with very many famous painters and interesting art pieces. The temporary exhibit on display during our visit was on perfume, and was a very...More

The former Dixon home displays a variety of artwork. The rooms are easy to navigate, but sometimes the labeling of items makes you pick out key words to distinguish which piece of a group it refers to. There is a small garden at the entrance...More

The Dixon needs to stretch their customer service and imaginations a bit. We went for the Secret Gardens movie in the "gardens" and I was hoping for something special. The movie itself is fantastic but no charm added from the Dixon whatsoever. It was just...More
