Stayed here and loved it. When we were here there were ducks wandering around the hotel. Very cool. I will be back.

A very classy property rich in Southern Hospitality and the wait staff are professional, courteous and attentive. Great value and Cheaper than the cheesy Beale Street down the street (don't bother).. The Peabody is the delightful in an otherwise dismal touristy area of town! It's first class... you'll be thankful for visiting...

From the spring-summer roof top happy hours to the daily March of the ducks in the lobby fountain. You must stop in for a drink, have dinner, do some upscale souvenir shopping or stay in a lovingly updated historic room.

We were they and thought we should do it, so we did. It was nice to have a (pricey) drink in the beautiful lobby, but as the crowds poured in and the noise level rose, it was no longer relaxing. The ring master had a tough time getting the ducks to leave the fountain. Maybe it was a bad day,... More

I typically love this hotel. Having said this this time was I felt they took huge advantage. We arrived early (around 1) and were told no rooms ready in our category. They proceeded to up sell the concierge floor which of course they said was ready for and extra $90 a night. The room was no nicer and you got... More

We visited the Peabody Hotel primarily to watch the ducks walk at 5pm. I wish we had arrived much earlier and secured a better viewing position as the place was crowded and noisy. We were somewhat disappointed when the ducks simply walked from the fountain to the elevator, we had expected them to parade around a little longer, it was... More

If you're in Memphis, take the time to visit The Peabody...even if you're not staying there! This was my first time visiting during the Christmas Holiday, and it was gorgeous. Whether you're here for the history (Elvis Presley signed his November, 1955 RCA recording contract in the hotel lobby) or you're bring the kids to see the ducks, it's worth... More

In the lobby there is a pianist playing waltz's and great music. The environment is so calm and you fill like your somewhere else far away. This is worth every dollar. It is pricey, but worth it to relax and enjoy your surroundings.

Please please please don't hesitate to book here. You must experience this once-in-a-lifetime style hotel that truly takes you back with its timeless elegance and southern hospitality. From arrival to departure, our experience was seamless. We opted out of the valet parking option but the valet staff still assisted us with our luggage and ensured we found the check-in area...
