We have stayed countless times and have always had a wonderful visit. Stately. Timeless. The location is great. A wonderful place to just sit and observe. Food is very good. Staff is attentive. Worth staying on the Club floor. The rooms are attractive but the bathrooms are small to average size. Try to see sunset from the Roof and of... More

This is an old and grand hotel and stunning. We just popped in to see the ducks but was so impressed by the hotel, we went for a walkabout. Sadly, we didn't stay in any of the rooms, but would imagine we wldnt have been let down.

Word of advice when traveling. Do some serious investigating if you notice in your search that it’s difficult to find an available hotel. Start questioning what’s driving that action. This happened to me recently and I should have done more research as to what the Memphis in May International Festival is before booking a hotel in downtown (mistake #1). We... More

The hotel is charmingly old school, and kind of kitschy. The duck thing is amusing once. The lobby bar is actually fabulous. Makes hanging out, people watching and having a drink very pleasant. The room was a little stuffy. But I asked for a river view and they gave me one. So that was nice. Very enjoyable place.

The is the classic southern hotel in Memphis. The concierge was most helpful in recommending dining and places to visit. On Mother's Day the lobby was packed for the famous parade of ducks. The Corner Bar had daily drink specials and is a fun place to have a drink before going out to dinner. Our room was somewhat small for... More

Didn't stay here. Only came to see the ducks that twice daily parade through the lobby. No charge for observing this event. Very well attended. Go early to get a good seat to see the ducks.

Happy hour weekdays 5-7 cocktails only $3! Go into the lobby. You feel you are back in time. Hopefully see the resident ducks.

A must see in Memphis, even if you are not there for the Famous Duck March! Beautiful lobby, very interesting museum up on the Mezanine level. Staff is friendly and welcoming. If you are able to be at the Peabody at 11:00 am as the ducks come to the fountain, you will be treated to a great overview by the... More

The Peabody is like taking a step back in time. The lobby has a beautiful fountain with ducks swimming around during the day. Our room was a lovely shade of lilac with a chandelier. The room was very comfortable. The staff was accommodating and friendly. On the downside, the bathroom was a little small and there was no coffee pot.... More
