I've never been disappointed in the Peabody! It's an icon and rightly so. We've had overnight visits, as well as just a stop in for drinks before dinner. And seeing the ducks walk is a must-do while in Memphis, at least once!

I stayed at the Peabody for 3 nights for a business meeting. Thru reviews and visiting other places it is one of the best hotels in Memphis but not worthy of a overall 4 star experience We were upgraded to a deluxe room The rooms feel old and the bathroom I had felt very old and low water pressure. The... More

Great location, near all the downtown attractions. Nice building but it needs updating inside. The rooms are a bit tired. The Italian restaurant is poor - not a hint of authenticity. The Corner Bar Has no atmosphere. The Lobby Bar is busy and the best feature of the hotel. Didn't try the French restaurant but it looked fairly empty most... More

If you like historic buildings, take the time to visit the Peabody. So beautiful. So many historical photos everywhere. Missed the 'duck walk' but found a couple of them happily handing out in the lobby fountain.

Went there at 5 PM to see the ducks. There were so many people and so little space you couldn't see a thing. If I was going to do this I would arrive a lot earlier to get a spot in front. But if you're from a place that has a lot of ducks e.g. Northern MI, this is no... More

Of course you have to see the ducks. Arrive early, get a drink at the bar and listen to the history and the 3min duck walk.

Something different and funny at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis. At 11 and at 5 they have a ceremony of marching the ducks! It's a real spectacle with a red carpet rolled out from the fountain in the center of the hotel to the elevator. A John Phillips Souza March begins to plat and the Duck Master directs the ducks... We got there 30 mins before& waited on the mezzanine with a drink. The duck walk takes just a few minutes but it very cute. The hotel is beautiful with tonnes of history. We stayed & had a drink in the corner bar ( happy hour had $3 drinks). Worth seeing. Kids would love and they can sit down along... More

We loved our visit to the Peabody! The staff is very nice and helpful. The room and bathroom were a little smaller than I had expected, but I would gladly stay here again. Be sure to watch the duck march during your stay!

The ducks walk the red carpet everyday at 11am arrival and 5pm departure to the elevator. It gets full early, recommend getting there 1/2 hour early
