Walking along the model, one gets a true understanding of how vast and important a waterway the Mississippi really is. Not do be done on a HOT day though.

What an absolute treasure. We were there when the weather was Springtime perfection. It might be a little too hot to do all the fabulous outdoors stuff in the middle of summer, but we were fine. But the monorail & museum was well worth the...More

Stopped off during the last leg of a road trip. Kids had a ball running around the Mississippi River model. It was fairly busy but still not crowded. Museum was nice to see and very informative.

This is a great park. Located along river Mississippi the park has a beautiful walkway along the river bank. The park is pet friendly and the location is just beautiful to watch the sun go down

Wonderful "likeness" of the Mississippi river "etched" into concrete as it flows from Minnesota to the Gulf of Mexico. Kids were having a great time waking in the cool water as it was a very hot day on our visit. A better stocked restaurant would...More

We decided to add the monorail and museum to our visit for $10/person. The to-scale Mississippi River was really interesting puts the actual enormous size of this river into perspective. I enjoyed walking through the river on this very hot day. The museum was really...More

I would assume that the actual park would be open...because it is outdoors. But I agree with Jenny W., I would call first. This was the first time I had been since I was little. So I am not familiar with their scheduling. Im... More
