Get there about an hour early. Sit and enjoy the drinks and snacks at the bar. You'll have a good seat and be able to see the ducks.

The perfect southern hospitality mixed with a dash pure joy. Loved taking my little ones to this hotel to visit the ducks and watch their daily visit from upstairs to down.

Beautiful elegant hotel. Personally I think this is more for the kids. Beautiful lobby and a lot of history.

Since 1930 the rooftop ducks at the Peabody Hotel have been grazing & quacking to thronging fans young & old alike. Waiting for their appearance exiting from the elevator to the lobby waterfall pool. 11am & 5 pm Daily

The ducks are so cute. Its must less crowded both at 11am when they come from upstairs than it is at 5pm when they go back upstairs. You should come at least 30 minutes early and use the mezzanine for viewing.

The duck parade at the Peabody Hotel is a fun, free show, especially for children. Five ducks are paraded from their rooftop home to the water fountain in the lobby at 11 am and do the reverse at 5 pm. The ducks are led by...More

It was fun to see the ducks arrive in the lobby. You need to get there early to get a place behind the ropes where you can see them because the lobby was jammed packed.

I believe it is free. We didn't see them march, but walked right into the hotel lobby, saw them swimming in the fountain, spoke with the duck master, and took the elevator up to the duck palace, which was really just going... More

This question has been answered...the ducks arrive at 1100 every morning...and depart at 1700. Suggest you get to the hotel early...say 9-10...have a coffee and nudge into just outside the lifts. Be prepared to be jostled... More
