A good variety of animals and the possibility to get really quite close to some animals. Our party included 2 young children and they were particularly delighted by the penguins and the chimps.

We visited the Welsh Mountain zoo on the spur of the moment. The zoo is very good especially for younger children.reasonably priced.the animal talks were fun and informative .penguins were adorable.

Urmmm yes and no really. There are quite some hilly bits amd there is also some areas which are covered with gravel.
