The walk to the helmet is quite steep but not too long as to put off the causal walker. The view increases steadily and benches are placed in accessible spots which provide convenient places to enjoy the view of both pestatyn and the sea. Details...More

This is at the top of a steep hill but don't be put off as the views at the top are stunning. It's a lot easier coming back down.

It is after all only a replica of a Roman Helmet, but it is well made and worth a look if you are up that way. What is better though are the great views over Prestatyn from this spot.

Walking the start of the Offa's Dyke Path you would not expect to come across this but as it is half way up a hill it is a great place to rest and take in the view.

If your in Prestatyn it's worth taking a look, I walked here with my 7 year old he enjoyed hiding inside the helmet and running around. An interesting sculpture. It's on quite a steep hill so not ideal for people with walking difficulties or wheelchair...More

Lovely to walk up to the Roman Helmet, the kids love it too! Plenty to see also a guide and history to read whilst up there, lovely walks and fantastic views!

A feature many local residents are not aware of. Can be reached by Car, of on foot from Prestatyn Town Centre. On Foot head up the High St, at the lights cross over and head up the road, heading up Prestatyn Hillside, following Offas Dyke...More

Went to see it today You can park next to it and its great really interesting and the kids loved it Only go on the way somewhere not a special trip as it will only fill 10 mins of your time.

We visited last week after seeing the reviews on trip advisor, you can park close by and walk a few yards to it. It is a bronze sculpture depicting the Romans in Prestatyn and Offa's Dyke path which is only a short distance from it....More
