Plenty of parking in this well planned forest. Start of walking trails clearly marked. Unfortunately only had time to visit Visitors' Centre and the Cafe. Clean, spacious cafe with friendly staff. Welsh cakes and coffee very good. Will definitely return to try more of the cafe menu and to do some walking too. Highly recommend.

Another trip to the Coed y Brennin forest and a long (5 mile), well signposted walk. The weather was relatively kind which helped. The place is more and more geared to mountain bikers but we enjoyed the walk which was largely separated from the biking trails.

Great for family riding following the Minotaur Trail and good for the more experienced riders too. Lots of well signposted routes to follow either walking or riding.

Came here for mountain biking! Heard good things so traveled up from South Wales, we wasn't disappointed, trails are awesome and for all types of riders. Visited October half term. Played in the playground, did the nature trail which the kids loved although you need sharp eyes and a steady pace to find some of the animals which did make it more fun as they are not obvious. Its a lovely walk which is suitable for push chairs. Took us about a 45 minutes. Had lunch... More

My Hubby and I haven't been here for a while (even though we only live 10 miles away) so on a lovely Autumnal morning we decided to go to the Forest Park for a leisurely walk. Entrance/exit is a one-way system. There are several car parks (these tend to be packed during the tourist season and weekends). The one and... More

Whilst on route from the Midlands to the Welsh coast, we decided to break the journey and stop of at C y B and glad we did so...ok we were lucky with the weather but we went out on the longest of the walks...about 12k and the walk was well sign posted and took in two waterfalls. The car park... More
