This was an extremly interesting place very well explained as you go round. Gives you a real sense of what prison life was like but also the context of life at the time of the prisons inception. Well worth a visit.

I have been here a few times over the years - but would recommend it to anyone - it's an eerie place, but well worth the visit.

We had a great trip here looking at this Gaol, very interesting place to visit. Great to teach the younger ones about the past!

Not the nicest of days so it was good to be inside even if a gaol! Interesting boards throughout indicating what has occurred in the past. An enjoyable educational afternoon.

A historical building with a sad history and past not a very nice thought of what the prisoners went through in there.

Entertaining and informative. Reasonably priced, you can easily spend an afternoon here reading about the history of the gaol and the kids loved the gory stories. Well maintained but i doubt it was so welcoming a hundred years ago.

I went there for a paranormal activity investigation last night from 10pm to 4am with Gwynedd Paranormal Activity investigation groups. I really enjoyed it it was cold but interesting. I did bekieve in ghosts before but I believe in them even more now. I would do it again. Its a really interesting and fascinating place.

Brilliant and very reasonable! We loved the visit around the gaol! Very informative and more or less just as it was! Some very spooky spots and brilliant that you can wander freely around..unlike a lot of other places. Very reasonable and held the interest of a 7 and 13 yr old. We visited while Halloween event was on which made... More

An historical eye opener - not recommended for the illiterate, as the attraction is full of informative facts for those that wish to interact and find out more by reading the plentiful information boards which provide a clear view of life in the prison. Being able to explore at your own leisure and the ability to enter the cells and... More
