after reading about the very mixed reviews we decided to give it a go as sometimes reviews can be a little misleading, however wished that we hadn't really gone. They advertise secure pens for your dogs....I would never put my dogs into these outdoor pens as not secure even with a padlock on, luckily able to leave in a ventilated... More

Far better than a Sea Life Centre. This place has indigenous creatures and is relevant. You get a double whammy as next door is the excellent Halen Mon.

We were worried about visiting after reading some reviews, but can say we enjoyed our visit. The staff were friendly and the exhibits were full/occupied by animals. My 6 year old loved seeing the animals up close and also got to see the disgraced shells of some when a member of staff explained what they were. Doesn't take long to... More

The kids enjoyed seeing the fish and ocean wildlife and there was a decent play area with a bouncy castle, which they loved. The cafe and souvenir shop were ok too

Having visited various sea life centres / aquariums around the country this one's definitely on the small side. Didn't feel like we rushed around and I was surprised when we got to the end and we were out within 45 minutes. Hope we didn't take a wrong turn. There's not a massive amount of variety on display which can be... More

We took our Grandaughter here and enjoyed our visit. The tickets are valid for 6 days which makes it good value. The free bouncy castle helped extend our visit which would only have lasted for 90 minutes otherwise and our Grandaughter was very interested in viewing the sea creatures. Good sheets for completing.

Visited one afternoon on the way back from somewhere else. Glad we hadn't planned a full afternoon here as it only took about 20mins to do the whole thing. At £7.99 each I think it was, not cheap. I expected it to be like SeaWorld, Hull. There are some good information posters around but some are too high up to... More

Many thanks for taking the time to write your review - all feedback is very much appreciated. Anglesey Sea Zoo is an independently owned, native aquarium that houses only British marine life. We do have about 40 tanks in the aquarium with marine animals such as seahorses, cuttlefish, jellyfish, lobsters, a conger eel and catsharks. Many of the animals are... More

We took our 5 year old nephew to ASZ to try and generate interest in the marine environment. The site is a little off the beaten track but in a lovely location with good parking and facilities. The ASZ website is good and detailed so study that to understand what it offers and what you get before you visit. It's... More
