Great sandy beach and a quiet place to let the dogs have a good run, we walked to it along the coastal path, but it is accessible by car

Being just ten minutes walk from our caravan site. Lligwy Beach was an ideal place to walk the dogs and explore. The beach and the sea are both clean with little litter. There is a carpark overlooking the beach and you can pay for this at the inexpensive friendly café. Also if you have a camper van or caravan you... More

A lovely sandy wide beach, nice and wild in the autumn, imagine very good in the summer months to bathe.

This large beach attracts families with young children as well as kite surfers etc. At each end there is car parking (by payment). It is also a haunted beach where a legless horseman has been seen riding along the sands. How many people who have visited the beach know that? Read "Haunted Anglesey" by Bunty Austin.

Great parking up spot for walks around the superb Anglesey coastline. Good walk from here up to the formidable trinity of remains at Din Lligwy and then on into Moelfre and back to the car via the RNLI station. As other contributors have articulated, what a story these peaceful looking waters have to tell. Add that to the now forgotten... More

Really nice little beach which is dog friendly all year around. Generally sandy with a small estuary to one end. If you look out to see you can see the small island with the shipwreck refuge for people wrecked at sea. It's a really nice and quiet space if you've got dogs to play with.
