Lovely, long beach, plenty of walking around woodland and the little peninsula is a lovely walk with lots of points of interest - definitely worth the £4 car park fee!

Beautiful walk with good facilities. Toilets well kept and good places for bbqs and picnics. Could imagine it gets very busy during the summer months so would need to get there early to ensure a parking space

There are BBQ facilities provided in the car park by the beach and you are only a 100 yards from the beach to get your view.
Are dogs allowed on the beach please? How long is the walk from the car park?

Unsure if dogs allowed in the beach in season. But it's a big open beach so Ud guess you can. If not then there's loads paths through forests. The walk to the island from car park is about 15 mins.. It's really beautiful... More
