Wow. What chocolate should taste like! This place is quaint, cozy and has excellent cacao chocolates. No added sugars, real ingredients. Their drinks are delicious too and the staff are lovely.

While visiting San Pancho we came upon a chocolatier shop, not what most would think of as a chocolate shop! This was pure cacao, made into candies, brownies, spreads, honey, powder, and more! We were greeted with a story of how they grow and process the cacao beans. Very interesting and delicious!

We just happened to run into this little shop as we explored the charming town of San Pancho / San Francisco. We loved the town and were amazed by this quaint little shop with some incredible chocolate goodies. While I cannot speak to the effectiveness of their cosmetics, there are some super tasty chocolate beans and hand made chocolates that... More

We got so lucky when we happened to find San Pancho and even more lucky when we found Mexicolate! Honestly the best part of the trip to Mexico, hands down. Lovely owners, AMAZING Mexican hot chocolate and other awesome products to take home! Wish we lived there to go by everyday!!

Nice little gem in this one-road town. I like their roasted cacao beans (great gifts too). Their hot chocolate is a pass for me; not rich or thick enough. Just be sure you're on Mexican time and don't be disappointed if the place is closed. Definitely don't do a massive drive to it unless you call them and confirm they'll... More

Well, if you never knew anything about what chocolate really can do for you without the properties of sugar this is the place for you. The owner was wonderful and really took you though all of the steps of how they process their cacao native to Mexico and yummy it up with honey and fruit. Also San Franciso is a... More

It took me three trips to find this shop, and to find it open, but I'm so happy I persisted. Mexicolate offers high quality, natural cacao products to eat and wear (skin care), with charming, knowledgeable staff who are happy to share. This is quality chocolate as few people know it. Be warned, this adorable shop might make a chocolate... More

A tiny shop front. They roast their own cocoa beans and they are amazing all by themselves. They also have cocoa powder, cocoa butter and chocolate bars and truffles. They chocolate has no sugar to sweeten, only local honey.
