I would not recommand this to anyone. There were way too many people in the water in a limited space (you were told off is you went too far) and it was practicly impossible to actually catch a wave as we kept bumping into one...More

I was very impressed with the school holiday program at Long Reef Beach. The instructors were knowledgeable, professional, enthusiastic and fabulous with all the kids! My children have done countless other holiday programs and this was by far the best program we've attended. It was...More

My son had 2 lessons with the guys and was up surfing in his first lesson. The team of guys that conducted the group were friendly, informative and very good with the teenagers. They go out and sit with the kids, picking and set them...More

I had a great experience in my two private stand up paddle board lessons. Matt taught me the basics in my first lesson. All credit to him that I stood up the very first time and then didn't fall off at all! My second lesson...More

I booked online for a group lesson. Booking was straightforward. There were maybe 20-25 people in our group, which meant the water was quite busy. Regardless, there were a number of instructors, who were very supportive. Great intro to surfing.

Truly a spectacular day! I had never even touched a surf board before our visit to Manly Surf School. So I was naturally sceptical about the lesson today. They met all my expectations! • a thorough but quick intro on how to surf with some...More

A serious "must" while in Manly. Nick was our instructor and he was quite nice, patient, helpful etc. It was our first time surfing so we had our share of hard falls but we both managed to get up and actually surf a few waves....More

I was very uncertain on where to book for a surfing class in Sydney.. I'm glad I chose Manly Surf School. What I liked about Manly beach is that it's not very crowded. The temperature of the sea was a bit warm, plus there were...More

A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take
you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches
here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the
day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is
a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the
Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are
plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent
cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants
