Karen's 'hidden and intriguing gems' walking tour was a perfect way to spend 1-1/2 hours in Manly. Karen met us at the wharf on time, and was genuinely interested in us and making sure we were comfortable throughout. The tour was an easy-moderate walk along the shore, through the lush botanical gardens, up to the kangaroo statue (high point for... More

This was such an interesting tour. I had lived in Manly for many years when my children were small and I thought I pretty much knew the ins and outs around this area. Well, Karen was able to show me a thing or two!!! It was such a horrible morning when we did our tour - freezing cold southerly winds... More

Our son gave us a voucher for the 'Hidden and Intriguing Gems' walking tour of Manly and what a wonderful way to spend an hour and a half! Karen arrived promptly, dressed in the period part, which attracted curious stares as we made our way round the streets. She is knowledgeable and professional but also fun in the way she... More

Karen has created something unique: a tour that both tourists and locals will love. As we are a bit of both we booked the tour to find out about our newly adopted home. And all I can say is that walking around Manly will never be the same again! I won't ruin the surprises she unveils on the tour but... More

Living in The Northern Beaches for quite some time and being from overseas, I didn't imagine some of the historical sites Karen showed us existed. She explained the history so well that we felt like we were taken a century back in time!

Karen is a wonderful guide, has so much knowledge and a lovely person. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, learnt a lot and visited places in Manly that we did not know. We will defintely do another tour. Everyone who visits Manly has to do one of Karen's tours whether you are visitor or a local.

My wife and I travelled to Manly while on holiday in Sydney around 21st November. We booked for the walking tour at the Tourist Info centre. Nobody had previously booked so a quick call to Karen was made by the office and she arrived shortly after. Karen certainly knows her stuff about Manly. We had a very pleasant walk which... More

I lived for a period of my childhood in Manly but never really got to grips with the amazing history of the place, so it was one of my ambitions to return to refresh the memories and understand more of the place grew up in. Karens walks through a town that I was fairly familiar with, some 50 years later,... More
