Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Stand in the doc where Ned Kelly was sentenced to death. Dating to the 1860's the interior is well preserved. The court room audio clips add to the mystique of the experience.

What a wonderful tour and being able to see everything in its original state. The gentleman at the front desk (I think his name was Keith) was absolutely fantastic, so welcoming and knowledgeable :-) You get to view the courthouse as it was back when Ned Kelly was getting his sentence. You can also see heaps of different rooms off... More

The court house is a great experience and the gentleman at the desk was very helpful and entertaining and knowledgeable. The ability to go through at your own pace was good, and in the court itself you can hear a trial going on. I learnt so much about Australian History that I didn't already know. The audio going on whilst you are walking through is also very informative. I enjoyed reading the transcripts about the Women's stories - and I would love to see them all put into a book to purchase. They were so interesting.

Kids had lots of fun looking for different objects on the activity sheet. Had fun in the court house taking lots of photos of Ned Kelly armor.

This site is well preserved and houses the Court House where Ned Kelly was tried. Lots of information dotted around. You can do a tour although we didn't.

We have visited Beechworth many times and love the history. This day the host in the court house was a particularly great bloke, we had a good chat about world history and thats why i love to come to these places, its not just what you can see, its what you can hear about too.
