Easy to find and enjoyable to walk around taking in all the gumtrees, oaks, bird life and croaking frogs. We were the only ones taking in the sunshine and fresh air last week and it was lovely. No amenities here so would be hesitant to...More

What a magnificent site, and a credit to the Dunkeld community. Like all Gardens, the real beauty is appreciated at all stages of the development and maturing stages. The majestic Old Gums create a fantastic setting for the hundreds of planted species. The natural water...More

We had a very relaxing stroll around the Arboretum and enjoyed seeing the amazing collection of oak trees. It's in a pretty setting with lakes and views of Mt. Sturgeon and there is also the old sarwmill and worker's cottage to explore. It was very...More

Walked to this place from the caravan park. Peaceful setting with plenty of history and trees to learn about. Fascinated with the old saw mill's story. A lovely morning of exploring.

We found out about the arboretum after visiting the Information centre. We were very impressed with it. A beautiful walk around the lakes and lush planting around. Stunning views towards Mount Abrupt. Lovely place to stretch your legs if you are passing through Dunkeld.

This will be a really nice spot in twenty years as the trees mature. Just a fact that new joints like this need time to get some growth, but you should have a look if you want a half hour walk, then you can compare...More

Worth the short walk to this lovely pond and arboretum plus native wildflower meadow. If you enjoy native flora and fauna you will enjoy this. Nice easy walk.

It was very cold for spring! But the 4 ducklings and their protective and proud parents made us feel good! And helped us make room for a cooked breakfast on holidays!!

We have visited Dunkeld numerous times while staying in Halls Gap. It is worth the drive across, we think. The Arboretum is always a place we go if time permits, as we enjoy the walk around the lakes. With views to Mt Abrupt and Mt...More
