Spent two days in Halls Gap hiking. Hiked straight UI p tomthenPinnacle on day 1. It was drizzling so once we got to the pinnAcle we discovered that sections of rock were quite slippery- one massive fall later and decided to pretend I was a mountain goat and step more cautiously. Not helped by the fact we werent aware to... More

Great hike to do with friends. A little technical at some parts but the signs and markings were clear and the view spectacular. Nice place to have a short picnic and to just enjoy the fresh air.

Very well maintained track. Amazing view from the top. Beautiful scenery all the way up and back. Lots of stairs. Secure railing up the top.

Go before 11am and it will be as if you are walking alone (or together). On our way back it was very busy just after 11 and the carpark was flowing down the street. Absolutely brilliant and definitely is worth the walk. Views are sensational and the rock formations are unbelievable. Parts are challenging but once again worth it. Enjoy

Absolutely amazing! The zoo is extremely high quality with much closer animal encounters than in their city counterparts. The natural enclosures that most of the animals are in makes a much more natural encounter rather than just cages. From giraffes to cheetahs and everything in between, could not recommend this highly enough!

A rock mountain trail with beautiful long distance views. Bell Field lake and Halls Gap town can be seen at the pinnacle. About 2.1 km distance from both Sundial and Wonderland car parks. About 5 hours walking journey. Recommend to a family even with small kids but with closed attention. Beware about footsteps as some rocks may be slippery. Be... More

The Pinnacle walk can be done either from the caravan park in Halls Gap, or the slightly shorter route from the Wonderland Carpark. Either way will take you a couple of hours return, but the views along the way from the Wonderland Carpark are a little more spectacular (Grand Canyon, Silent Street etc). Wear decent walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen... More

Amazing views. Two routes to get to the top. 0.7 kms and 2.7 kms. For non experienced trekkers, going up the shortest route and coming down the long way is a good idea.

Not for the faint-hearted we climbed the rocks and made it to the top. Take plenty of drinking water and some snacks as the view from the top is worth sitting down to enjoy before heading back down again.

Fantastic hike in the heart of Halls Gap. Depending on your route it took us 5 hrs, however we stopped for lunch and plenty of photo stops and also did the falls and canyon, otherwise I think you can shave an hr or two off the time depending on fitness levels, I would class this as a moderate trail. Beautiful views... More
