Worth the hike but it does take 3 hours round trip. Take plenty of water and a hat and sun screen, not much cover.

We love the Pinnacle. Two ways to get there from different car parks. For tranquility go out of peak times. Even when it’s busy it’s worth it!

Worth the drive for the view, easy walking paths and ease of access from carpark. One of many lookouts to take in whilst in the area.

Once you have reached the Pinnacle, you might want to spend some time, at least 30-45 minutes just looking at the rock formations, scenery, and enjoy the freshness of the mountains.

Climbing the Pinnacle is an absolute must when in Halls Gap, you'll never tire of the breathtaking view rewarding you at the top of the mountain...a vast and spectacular vantage point over the ranges!

Take the route via the Grand Canyon. Longer but well worth the extra distance. The trail seems to go on for ever but stick with it. Surprisingly busy, even out of season. Just get to The Pinnacle & you’ll see why. Not a particularly tough...More

This is a great hike with lots to see on the way up and on the way down. The carpark is easy to find and the access to the trail is direct from there. The hike itself was more interesting than the pinnacle!

Had the grandkids with us, so didn't quite make it to the top. Will definitely do it next time. Not as hard as we thought it was going to be, although we only did the 2.1 ks

This would be too much in one day! Stay in Halls Gap or Dunkeld and then go to Port Campbell the next morning.

That is if you're short of time. Otherwise stay a night in Halls Gap.
