Closed walk. No signs up prior to arrival, we luckily found out during a visit to the information centre.
Some signage on the street signs would be a good thing for tourists to save a wasted trip to the site

The entrance to the Falls was closed from Halls Gap direction and the Wartook direction. There was no indication until you arrived at the actual entrance to the walk that they were closed. Disappointing.

Highly recommended for family groups. Our two year old had no problems negotiating the wide path - but did get a bit wet at the waterfall. The water used to disappear underground at the base of the falls but now forms pools above ground that children of all ages have great difficulty ignoring.

We thoroughly enjoyed this walk early in the morning with misty parts - which made it quite romantic - going through the bushy well mainbtained paths.

Super easy walk through the bush, and greeted by a beautiful waterfall at the end. You can walk right under the falls. Such a lovely and serene walk. It's an easy walk if you enjoy waterfalls.

One of our favorite places to go when at the Grampians. A 10-minute walk to see the waterfall. Nice nature around, and walk is fairly easy. A must to do when there.

Not a lot of rain preceding our visit, so not much water flow. However, due to the low water flow the novelty was the fact that the water disappears into the ground at the base.
great one for the kids to stand right next to at the base

The signage could be better, but the lovely walk made it worthwhile. The water only trickles during dry periods, so don't expect gushing water in summer.

Springtime visit with my mountain goat tweens.
Off they jogged on easy-moderate mildly ascending track (around 800m) to Silverband Falls.
Winter rains ensured a good flow of water over the Falls. Summer it can be dry.
Lovely experience of Australian bush and Grampian’s landscape.

Our first stop in The Grampians was to Silverband Falls. It is an easy walk and great for families with young kids and older people. We strolled along and enjoyed the flora. My younger teen liked that there were less people around the day we visited.
