Healesville Glass Blowing Studio was established in 2009 and is located in the beautiful Yarra Valley winery region of Victoria. Visitors to the studio are able to watch the fascinating art of glass blowing from the mezzanine viewing area in the gallery. The opportunity for a hands on experience is also offered, you can make your own paperweight or book in for a beginners glassblowing class. We create a range of glass art from sculpture, chandeliers and custom lighting to blown glass vases, platters and bowls. Our work is held in several museum collections around the world including The Australian National Glass Art Collection and The Victoria and Albert museum in London.

This is a small boutique glass blowing business which sometimes has a glass blower present and has goods for sale. The glass blower wasn't present on the Saturday that we visited as it was considered too hot for that work. The service was friendly. The...More

A complete waste of time. Staff could not have been less interested. The 'demonstrator' swore the whole time we were in there. Avoid at all costs.More

We are very surprised to read this review. We try to be very helpful and approachable whilst avoiding jumping on people as soon as they arrive and making anyone feel pressured to buy something. We do not have "demonstrators", we have highly skilled glassblowers who...More

Thanks for your review. We do try to explain the process when we can but yes, you are right, we need to concentrate on the glass and can't always talk whilst in the process of making a piece. We do make pieces to order on...More

Thanks for reviewing us. Glassblowing requires intense concentration and split second timing. We do acknowledge people when we can take a moment to look away from the hot glass. Most people watch the whole process and once the piece has been finished ask us questions....More
