This is an amazing experience for anyone young or old, the rides are based at the beautiful Healesville Station and you board a cute little walker railcar (RM22) The guard really knew his stuff about the railway and pointed out many features along the line including the first 'cricket bat farm.' Beautiful trestle bridges, that you go over and under... More

Awesome comfortable ride through restored old train through beautiful countryside, over a bridge and through a tunnel, very pleasant and 30 minutes just perfect for the little ones who love trains. Station cafe serves good food and coffee, a fireplace inside adds to atmosphere. Highly recommend. Very affordable.

Go past scenic Yarra Valley, along winery and beautiful valley, farm lands, interesting tunnel and bridges as well as historical Healesville. Well worth a visit! cheap fare too! The railcar they use(Walker RM22) is sooo cute! seats are very comfortable!

This is a really enjoyable way to spend a Sunday. The Cafe (YV Refreshments) is awesome. The train trip is a relaxing ride through lovely scenery. Well worth the $15. I've actually done this trip about 5 times now. Love it :-)

I went on the train trip with my Husband and Daughter, we all loved it very much, the conductor and train driver were very informative on the journey. The area is absolutely beautiful. I would recommend this for anyone young or old.

I will admit I am a bit of a train fan so I was keen to go on this. The station is beautifully restored and the cafe is a winner. $15 tickets for adults is reasonable for an attraction like this. You board and beautifully restored former Victorian Railways Walker RailMotor and set off on a slow ride through the... More

Stumbled across this trip by accident. Well worth the money. The train is slow and clean with an informative guard who pointed out a field of kangaroos and places of interest. 15 minutes there and then straight back. But beautiful countryside. Even saw my first "cricket bat farm" lol which is basically willow trees for the cricket bats.

The station has been closed for several years and has been restored with train rides through some tunnels on the weekends. There is a cafe which was really nice, we had lunch, good food, good service and friendly helpful staff.
