We wandered in the gardens, discovering art works placed throughout. I think my favourite work was the tree of life - it is mesmerising! However, the wind chimes are truly enthralling! Take visitors from interstate or overseas here. You will be glad you did!

After a bit of a search we finally found it and then disappointment. We went to the front counter only to be informed that it was between exhibitions and was closed, so why was it open. We then asked about nearby galleries and the lady was not aware of the exhibition at the nearby Oak Hill Gallery.

We are so lucky to have this beautiful gallery in our home town. My daughter and I rode our bikes to visit and enjoyed the latest exhibition on birds. There are papers in the entrance foyer for the kids to do a treasure hunt through the exhibition and the entry is cheap! Thanks MPRG

We frequent this regional gallery and have always been greatly pleased with our experience. We recently viewed the Salon des Refusés which was very engaging and showcased the works of contemporary Australians (some local). We love the open space, the accessibility to the works and the range of exhibitions offered each year. For two years this gallery hosted the Archibald,... More

Quite unordinary gallery - there was no artwork on the walls. Perhaps the new exhibit still in preparation, however we never tried to visit again.

This was a real surprise visit, not only the works on display, which are simply amazing, but the space itself is one of the better galleries in which to contemplate and view the exhibits from a tremendously talented group of artists. A highly recommended and worthwhile visit. No cafe facilities available though!

A well planned and family friendly display of many local artists, with beautiful jewellery, books and cards for sale as well.

Unfortunately missed the Archie's exhibition this year but caught the beach one. Some good stuff but a lot more political than we were expecting.

Maybe we have been spoiled by the free galleries we have been to in the cities, but having just spent $4pp entry to see the current 'On The Beach' exhibition, it seemed very poor value. Staff were not welcoming or well informed and the exhibition is very tiny. No cameras allowed, so if you wanted a picture for memory of... More

A pretty drive to this gallery, my third visit. The special exhibition had a theme of The Beach. Artworks were displayed to advantage. One of my favourite things at this gallery is the display of works, to the theme, by local school children. Such a delight. Don't miss the rose garden next door.
