Another great option for a day trip from Melbourne if you don’t want to spend the night at hotel (yes there is one at the Winery). Wine tasting was good. It costs $5 and is not free like many others but you don’t pay the...More

The Ministry of Chocolate is an informal restaurant at Mitchelton Winery. We visited for lunch and the food was superb. We ate miniburgers, pumpkin and rocket pizza, and a large serving of chips. Can recommend all. Good service in a pleasant outdoor venue. There is...More

There is plenty to do at MItchelton winery even for the avid traveller. Have a spa, wine taste, swim, gorge on chocolates or just chill on the banks of the Goulburn River with a glass of wine, this new hotel is a great weekend destination.

Lovely, well-maintained grounds, and magnificent views located beside the river. Small chocolate factory and even a jumping castle set up next to it for the kids. The wine tasting hall was a very cool place to relax in on a hot day, good local information...More

WOW!!!! Not only were Thirsty Merc and Bryan Adams unbelievable but this venue absolutely nailed it!!! In stark contrast to a Day on the Green at a different venue back in November, Mitchelton Winery sets a high standard. Arrival was well mapped out and simple,...More

We stayed at the new hotel and spa, Glorious outlook to the river with birds and wallabies in the grounds. Great appointments and very comfortable bed. Just a short stroll to the restaurant for breakfast overlooking the river Great place to get away and recharge!

While staying there, we were offered a winery tour, looking at the hidden workings of the winery and the cellar area. Well worth doing while there.

Hi there. They have a pool here. But i am pretty sure it’s for the guests. It’s enclosed by the hotel. But there is no harm in asking I suppose. Good luck happy travels
