Stand in awe looking at this brilliant statue of a true champion. Story is well told in plaques and well sited next to Lake Nagambie.

Stopped to have a look at the black caviar statue while driving past, there is plenty of information on the breeding and racing history of this champion horse. Good setting in a flower garden with the Nagambie lake as a backdrop.

There's not much you can say about a statue but it's nothing to go and have a look at it. There's a little write up about it

A must see when travelling through Nagambie. Set on a nice park with places to buy coffee and lunch that you can take back and enjoy the view over the river.

We went to Nagambie and was surprised to see the statue of this great horse. On the opposite of it is the water tower of the town and in front Lake Nagambie. We'll coming back for sure!~

I'm not into horse racing and a statue is a statue but it was obviously built with pride. History of races is given plus a little history of the horse itself. The breeder, owner etc.

Walked past the statue and read the plaques about the history of the horse. Quite interesting. No mention however of the maker.

This is a life size statue of Nagambie's pride and joy. A very famous racehorse to be sure which also sired many promising racehorses.
