The trail is next to an old aqueduct which makes it perfectly level in most parts and therefore a very easy walk. There are beautiful views of Australian bush and rainforest and in parts you get beautiful sky high views of the Yarra Valley. Excellent...More

Nestled above the floor of the Upper Yarra Valley, O’Shannassy Aqueduct Trail follows the historic open channelled O’Shannassy Aqueduct, meandering through pristine forest which has been protected for nearly 100 years for water harvesting. The trail, stretching 30 kilometres in its entirety, passes mature fern...More

You can access the old o'shannassy aqueduct at a number of places and walk for a short, medium or long walk. It is not a circular walk so you need to walk one direction and then turn around to return to your car, if that's...More

This trail is beautiful! Nice and flat and suitable for running or walking. We ended up turning back after a few kms to get back to the car as it does not loop back around. Recommended for any ages.

A beautifull and easy walk trail. Spectacular views of Yarra Valley. Bear in mind that there are no toilets in the area and and no loop tracks.

Such a beautiful trail. About an hour's walk, very easy, but be aware that it does not take you back to the car park. We thought it'd be 6.8km round trip. Realised at the end that we'd have to walk all the way back. Bring...More

You need to drive up to the trail with the bikes because to ride up with kids would be nearly impossible. Try to get someone to drop you all off with the bikes because it's a pretty thrilling ride back down once you've done the...More

The trail is perched high above the Yarra Valley and follows the contours next to the O'Shannassy Aqueduct. After the recent rains and high winds there are many trees across the path which add to adventure but will slow you down if you are riding...More
